Ladies Tea Soft Launch Party

When beginning a new adventure such as starting your own company, you’ll see your to-do list quickly and continually build! Luckily, when it comes to priorities, Laura and I are typically on the same page. We both wanted to mark the start of this incredible new journey with a celebration! We were so excited to celebrate that we even wanted to throw a soft launch party before the official launch, with the women that we look up to and have inspired us to follow our dreams. We knew the perfect event to throw for these amazing woman would be an intimate ladies tea party.

Once we began planning the ladies tea party, we knew Laura’s backyard was the perfect location. The smell of Jasmine flooding over you from the moment you arrive, surrounded by trumpet flower vines, and a covered brick patio, the space was simply made to host beautiful outdoor parties. The tea happened to fall on the warmest day of the year yet, so the sunlight pouring through the pergola-covered patio made for the dreamiest atmosphere. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day!

We planned a simple menu that we were able to execute on our own because the party was intimate and small. The menu included two different kinds of crostini's, fruits and veggies, caprese skewers, two different kinds of scones and pastries, buttermilk pie, and lemon cake. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a glass of champagne punch and had a choice of multiple hot teas, iced Passion tea, water and coffee.

The showstopper of this tea was of course the China and tea ware supplied by the wonderful Cheri from Cheri’s Vintage Table! Cheri’s vintage tea cup and saucers, china and silver tea ware were absolutely stunning and stood out on their own. To complement the settings and create a cohesive look, Laura put together the most beautiful floral arrangements that matched our invitations, complete with individual hanging arrangements over each table.

What better than to top off the day with the amazing company we held throughout the party. Beginning a new venture, out of your comfort zone, can be a scary step to take. We know that we would not have been able to approach these steps if it weren’t for the love and support of our amazing girlfriends and family. Thank you to the lovely ladies that came to show support and celebrate Back Patio Event Design at our tea party. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.
