Giving Thanks During the Holidays

This past week we were fortunate enough to host a dinner party with brand new friends, celebrating an exciting year of growth, empowerment and support! In the midst of the great newfound company (and food!), we were really struck with the urge to take a step back and reflect on all that we are truly thankful for. While the list is quite extensive, we thought we would share a few things we are most thankful for heading into the holiday season, and celebrating during these last weeks of 2017.

First and foremost we are thankful for the constant support and encouragement we have received from our loved ones in the pursuit of this little dream we call Back Patio Event Design. Our immediate families have been a tremendous support system in motivating our drive and willingness to step outside our comfort zones. Much love and many thanks to the Craig + Bull families!

In addition, throughout the year we have had the opportunity to garner so many great, new industry partnerships. Many of whom we are lucky enough to consider friends. We would like to thank and digitally hug Cate of Cate Batchelor Photography, Cristina of CC Vintage and Andrea of Not My Dish for partnering with us on our first collaboration photoshoot as a small business. The strength of these women running their own businesses, and successfully, sets the bar high for us. We know with their support and inspiration we too can make our dream happen step-by-step! We look forward to making even more friends and valued partnerships along the way, during this journey.

Finally, we are incredibly grateful for the clients who have placed their trust in us as a new business. We are ecstatic about designing the best day of their lives!

Thank you for letting us share that little moment with you. And now we would love to share with you a few pictures from our giving thanks holiday dinner party that inspired this end of year reflection. Happy Holidays everyone :)
