Planning Your Farm Wedding with An All-Inclusive Caterer

Recently at Sweetwater Farms, we designed our first outdoor wedding ceremony setup on the Barn Lawn. This concept was new for us here, with a small guest count to accommodate it was perfectly spacious and felt fresh in the underutilized space. The lawn is perfect for an intimate wedding for up to 100 guests along the reception Barn. The Saddle Room was used as the bar and lounge, its joint courtyard was set to please and welcome guests with beverages and appetizers with all of this flanked by bench seating along the Barn Lawn. The venue's historic Green Barn, willow trees and french doors as the perfect wedding arch set the stage in the ceremony background.

Additionally, during this new setup, we were lucky enough to work with our preferred San Diego caterer, Bekker’s Catering. What we can’t provide, they will! Outside of the venue's included tables, benches, furniture decor and table linens, they can help ease any wedding planning stress with additional rentals and design. Planning and outdoor wedding here with them will make your wedding day even more stress free! They'll help you plan not just your bar and catering, but also provide glassware, flatware, tabletop needs, napkins and more. Their wide range of products are sure to fit your budget from disposable bamboo table settings to their finest china. When planning your wedding or event at a venue that requires you to bring everything in, looking into a caterer like Bekker's who supplies all of your necessary table top needs, will be sure to help make planning very smooth. They are, and continue to be our number one suggested caterer to work with!

Finally, we wouldn’t have been able to dress up the farm and capture the day without two more of our preferred vendors, Brett Charles Rose Photography and Untethered Flowers. Brett is and continues to be one of the most sought after San Diego wedding photographers, who’s imaging captured the array of colors surrounding the event perfectly. He captured the magic hue of the blues in Untethered Flower’s arrangements, which brought in that extra pop of color, creating a burst of fun throughout the wedding design. Ali’s (owner at Untethered Flowers) wedding flowers were wild, new and something we have been craving to see at the farm!
