DIY Wedding Planning // Boho Style

Welcome to our last wedding of 2018 on a beautiful Saturday in December 2018.

This outdoor San Diego wedding was complete with the perfect sunset over Sweetwater Farms. Sam and Nathanael designed and planned a boho and farm inspired San Diego wedding day complete with macrame, a stunning BHLDN bell-sleeved dress and vintage rugs galore.

Sam planned, designed and had her family and church community execute what was the definition of DIY planning done right! We suggested switching up the usual design in the barn to moving the tables horizontally down the center to fit their 200 person wedding. They rented two additional large round tables for either side of the Sweetheart Table for their closest family and bridal party. Full, yet simple table top design made each setting feel personal, welcoming and truly spoke about the couple. Rich burgundy linens and a simple macrame touch to the Sweetheart Stage brought the whole look of love together. Tying in the burgundy one more time, Sam did her own bouquets too! Just stunning!

All-in-all a flawless DIY wedding day and exactly how we wanted to wrap up 2018. Thank you to all of the vendors who we worked with on this special day! The farm and ranch event venues have never looked so beautiful!
